If you know Dickens you will know Miss Haversham is Pip's rich aunt who, in her early years, was jilted at the altar. Since then (some 50+ years later) she has
always worn her wedding dress and left the dining room as it was on that fateful day. My intention was to furnish the entire house but it was just gonna be
too much work =) So I made an unfurnished (apart from the church)/landscaped/decorated one.
This house is based on the house that Dickens based Miss Havershams' house on - Restoration House in Rochester.
I didn't want to make a fully destroyed place, so Havershams Folly is *elegantly shabby* - peeling paint, rusted iron, stained wallpaper, dirty concrete and grotty gardens. There are 4 bedrooms, each with ensuite. The 2 bedrooms with adjoining informal lounge would make a fine nanny/nursery and the master bedroom on the 2nd floor has a private large balcony. A large formal dining room and large formal living area are based on the ground floor, along with the kitchen. The kitchen offers basement access and access to the yard. The basement is dry and has cells and an escape door =P The family chapel has remained untouched and has the original pews, altar, confessional and adornments.
There is one file containing the lot, items and a
read-me/credits file.
