I love fuzzy country lots and had to make a new one with Ermelinds gorgeous thatched roof pieces. As I was building it I found I really needed particular recolours and once I started I had a
hard time stopping. This lot contains 224 recos by me, most of which I did specifically for this lot! And I had a total ball doing it =) I also hope you like my new credit list style - much easier to read.
The Cottage is an old building set on a decent sized block. The front *yard* has a driveway and access is to the house is gained via the old stone bridge over the river. The *living* yard has a fishing bridge, garden with fruit trees and room for vegies, a henhouse and plenty of room to frolic with kids or pets.
The house itself, although quite small, is bursting with character and consists of 3 levels. The basement level can be reached via a side door opening onto the garden/henhouse/wood chopping area or via a ladder to the kitchen. In the basement you will find a large guestroom/kids room which has its own sitting area. The main basement room is a games/bar area with pool table, darts, music, sitting area and bar. A half bath with shower and toilet complete the floor and there are basement windows to allow natural light.
The front door opens into the kitchen dining space - the area is open plan and decorated in rustic country style with old wood and slate flagstone floors. A large fireplace ties the two spaces together and provides a homey warmth. An arch leads through to the living area - again topped off with a fireplace. Leading off the living room is a full bathroom with tub, shower and toilet.
Stairs lead up to the large main bedroom on the top floor. This room has room for a large double bed, a fireplace with sitting area and a library nook. Another half bathroom comprising shower and toilet complete the floor.
